Built and registered in 1972, and owned by me since 2004, this Midget has been mildly modified for speed events and improved reliability, comfort and performance on the road. Further modifications are planned.

GAC442K has an original 1960s Ashley fastback hard top, which was added in 2007. This will be complemented soon by a replica Ashley glassfibre front end. Suspension and engine upgrades are also planned.

GAC took part in two rounds of the Luffield MGCC Speed Championship in 2006 and again in 2007. It is resting from competition in 2008, but did pay a more sedate visit to Spridget50 - see the MG events pages for details.

The Midget has been seen in Classics Magazine and the Estonian magazine e5 and is extensively featured in The Classic Car Book.
